Technical Director – Digital Engineering Advisory, Beca
Glenn is a Technical Director and the national lead for Digital Engineering Advisory in Beca. As an ISO 1965-2 Certified Practitioner, and the person responsible for leading Beca’s ISO 19650 certification, Glenn has a deep appreciation for the benefits of BIM and how those benefits translate to specific client requirements.
Glenn has extensive experience in the BIM realm, leading large-scale transformational projects. This is best displayed in the successful delivery of projects such as the development of Transpower’s long term BIM strategy, as well as Hamilton City Council’s multi-award winning Pukete Wastewater Treatment Plant Asset Information Model and acting as the BIM programme lead for the Defence Estates Alliance.
Widely recognised as a thought leader in the BIM community, he regularly speaks at conferences in New Zealand and Australia, as well as writing articles for various industry publications. He is co-author of the 2014, 2016 and 2019 versions of the NZ BIM Handbook, a member of the NZ BIM industry training group, and a former member of the NZ BIM Acceleration Committee.
