BIM Education New Zealand (BENZ)

The BENZ consists of key construction tertiary education providers. It was established in December 2014 to co-ordinate their efforts in BIM education at tertiary level.

The BENZ role is to:

Achieve a consistent approach to BIM into all architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) programmes in New Zealand

Use the BIM handbook and other national guidelines in course material

Establish national guidelines for BIM learning outcomes (download here) and guidance on how to adopt these

Collaborate on research projects to increase BIM adoption
