The fifth and final survey in this series of five has been completed this year, taking another snapshot of the state of BIM uptake across the New Zealand Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industry. Grant will show how the Hazard Viewer tool significantly reduced the risk of Health & Safety breaches with respect to Asbestos Management for a large property owner.
The Health & Safety at Work Act and the Asbestos Regulations 2016, present some major challenges in delivering an effective Safety Risk Management Plan for existing buildings.
Ensuring the right people have access to this information at the right time, and that they understand the hazards, presents a major risk to contractors and building owners
